I had to share this photo of Katie Holmes and co-star Alex Burns on the set of “The Extra Man”. They were filming a scene for the movie in New York yesterday (March 4) in front of the Russian Tea Room.
They both look so cute and I love the look on Katie’s face. She looks so young with those beads in her hair doesn’t she?
There was another part of Katie’s Glamour Magazine interview that I loved. It’s the part where Katie is talking about the fact that she has always wanted to be in this business.
GLAMOUR: The media’s had this perception that you were going to be overwhelmed by Tom’s life. Did you ever think that perception was off or did you just not pay attention to it?
KH: From an early age I knew that I wanted to be in this business. So I did everything I could to get here, and when I met Tom, I knew in an instant that we were going to be together, that we were going to get married. He does have a very big life. And you know, we just do it. And, as a woman, you make that transition from being single to [being] a partner. I have a teammate, and it’s like, we’re going to make this work.
That’s wonderful that she sees Tom Cruise as a teammate. I think they make a great team.
