Tom Cruise chats with E! Online about Christmas shopping for his kids. When asked what Suri Cruise wants for Christmas, he said, “You know, she likes to color. She likes dolls, stuffed animals. She’s really easy about stuff like that.”
As for Isabella and Connor, it sounds like presents aren’t at the top of their priority list. “A cool pair of sneakers, different books that they like,” Tom said. “They’re kind of like, ‘Look, it’s been a busy year and we’re just looking forward to some quiet time, just hangin’ out.’ “
Just hanging out with the family sounds nice to me!
Last night on Jay Leno, Tom was asked if he would ever consider going on Broadway like Katie Holmes. He said sure, he would consider it. In fact, Tom has been talking about doing a musical fairly soon, but wants to do it as a movie.
“Kate loves musicals. Suri loves them. And I’ll never forget going to The Sound of Music when I was a kid. My mother was working and it was us four kids. It was a big thing in our family…It was a big afternoon for us.”
What else does Tom want to do down the road? How about a Disney/Pixar film. I would love that!
Tom said, “We all love those Pixar and DreamWorks [movies],” he says. “But I haven’t found one that I said, ‘Yeah, I’m gonna do it.’ But yeah, I would do it.”
Tom and Katie haven’t decided quite yet where they will spend the holidays, but from the sound of it, they may just stay in New York. New York at Christmastime, beautiful!
