Tom Cruise gave some advice to newlywed Spencer Pratt from The Hills about women. On a pre-taped interview for Hills after show, Tom was asked what advice he had for Spencer, who instead of giving Heidi Montag the big wedding she wanted, talked her into eloping. Tom’s expression was hilarious.
So, what did Tom have to say about Spencer’s shotgun wedding in Mexico? Basically he told Spencer that he made a mistake. He said, “If the girl wants the wedding, you gotta do the wedding. It’s a special occasion, and she’ll remember it forever. Spencer… dude… you’ll realize this later.”
Good advice Tom. Spencer is a big fat dummy! 
Spencer did respond to Tom’s comment saying, “You all know how I feel about big weddings, but if Tom Cruise says so, it must be true. If Tom’s the best man, we’ll have a big wedding!”
