Suri Cruise has been visiting the set of her mom’s new movie, “Son of No One” where she got to meet Channing Tatum. Channing is playing the husband of Katie Holmes’ character, which means they probably spend a lot of time together.

Channing told US Magazine that Suri was very playful and close to her mom,”[She's] a happy, playful little girl!” Sounds to me that he had a few fun moments with her. Channing is married to Jenna Dewan and currently has no children. I bet he can’t wait to have little ones of his own.

Cameron Diaz has been promoting “Shrek: Ever After” and recently told People Magazine that Suri Cruise already knows who “Princess Fiona” is.  Apparently she was telling them how big a fan Suri is when she stated, “I’m not going to speak for her, but yes, I think she does love Shrek.”  Even though Suri knows the real secret on who Fiona is Diaz does ask that parents allow their children to believe in the magic of make believe.

Suri Cruise’s Birthday Menu

Tom Cruise had the very best but simple for his daughter, Suri’s 4th birthday. Tom ordered four dozen cupcakes and chocolate & white frosting from Sprinkles bakery. Last year the family used “Sweet Lady Jane’s” and did a 4-tier yellow cake with flowers and butterflies. Doesn’t that sound cute? I think the cupcakes were a wise choice.

This probably means that Suri had their Cupcake Tower (tower alone costs $10) from Sprinkles and they all got to put the frosting on, toss sprinkles and other fun stuff on them. It honestly sounds like the perfect birthday celebration for a 4 year old and her friends. The party was topped off with a tea party and a swim.

People Magazine is reporting that Suri Cruise did in fact celebrate her birthday with her family, this includes her dad, Tom Cruise. The family had a small but intimate gathering back home among family and friends. Suri treated party goers with cupcakes and a tea party setting, followed up by a treasure hunt and some pool time. Doesn’t that sound fun? Many thought they’d go all out for the tiny princess, but instead they picked to have a more down to earth casual occasion. I think this was definitely the best way to go.

Happy Birthday to Suri Cruise!!!! Suri turns 4 today. I wonder what she got for a birthday present.  Currently Suri Cruise and her momma, Katie Holmes have been walking and shopping all around New York City. Dad, Tom Cruise has been invisible from all the press, which I’m guessing means he’s visiting with his older kids in California. Hopefully Tom was able to visit Suri today.
