Niki Yan was invited by Tom Cruise to visit the set of ‘Mission Impossible 3′ after he was moved by her story. And she was also interviewed by the E! Entertainment Television. This book tells the story of a young Chinese village girl who came to Hollywood to pursue her American dream after she was inspired by ‘Top Gun’.
Yan is very proud of the book and the message that it brings.
“The message of the book is nothing but inspiration. I want to have a big impact on people’s lives. This book is just as important as ‘The Catcher in the Rye’. It’s going to liberate America and the rest of the world. It’s going to be so controversial and influential,” says Yan.
Yan future dreams include turning the book into a film, with hopefully fellow actor Tom Cruise who was her inspiration in the first place, starring in it.
She goes on to say, “This is a True Hollywood story. It’s mixed with humor and genuine emotion. It’s funny and fun, spiritual and inspirational. It’s original. It’s universal. It’s for everyone who loves Tom Cruise, and for everyone who doesn’t”.
