I still don’t have any photos to post from Katie Holmes’s dramatic Tokyo makeover, but I do have a great video clip from TV Guide. It shows their arrival in Japan, as well as the “Valkyrie” premiere.
There are so many crazy rumors going around about Katie’s makeover, from why she did it, to how much it cost. I think I know the highly secret reason behind the long hair extensions. Are you ready? Because Katie wanted to look knock out gorgeous and do something different with her hair? Why not?! Why does there have to be a reason behind it all?
Anyway, the Daily Mail is reporting that Katie’s entire makeover for the premiere cost around $43,000. Here’s their breakdown of it all:
It took six hours to have long hair extensions put in, which came with a £2,000 price tag, according to a U.S. publication.
She also apparently spent £7,000 in spa treatments, £20,000 in dental veneers and further £1,000 for premium make-up.
Veneers? Really? There are so few pictures from the Japan premiere it’s hard to tell if she really got veneers. Check out this close up and tell me what you think. Honestly, I could care less if she got veneers or not. As we all know, it’s so common in the industry.
Regardless of what’s fact and what’s fiction….Katie looked absolutely gorgeous!
