People Magazine is reporting that Katie Holmes will make a guest appearance on the ABC comedy Eli Stone!! I am so excited!
According to a source, she’s slated to appear in one episode when the legal comedy-drama returns this fall. She’ll play a non-profit attorney whose mysterious case leads her to Eli (Jonny Lee Miller). Rumors that Tom Cruise would guest-star are incorrect, the source says. Cruise, Holmes and daughter Suri were spotted on the show’s set earlier this week.
Katie has a connection with the Eli Stone producer Greg Berlanti from her stint on Dawson’s Creek as Joey Potter.
There is no word on when exactly the show will air. All we know is “sometime this fall”. I have pictures of Tom, Katie and Suri leaving Union station after a taping of the show and I’ll post those in just a minute.
I am so glad that Katie has come back to TV even if it is just for a one-time appearance. I hope this is the beginning of more sitcoms for Katie, or at least TV of some sort.
