Back in 2002, Katie Holmes starred in “Abandon”. I actually haven’t seen this movie, but remember hearing about it. The film was about “a senior at an elite college, already under severe pressure to complete her thesis and land a prestigious job, must confront the sudden reappearance of her old boyfriend, after his two year, unexplained absence”.
Katie played Katie Burke and I found this interview with her about the movie.
Katie describes her character in the interview saying, “She seems so perfect and really what’s going on inside is that she’s lonely like the rest of us. She feels isolated like the rest of us sometimes. She’s still upset about things in her past. She’s broken hearted.”
Looks like an intense movie! Have any of you seen it? I think this is one I will have to see.
