Katie Holmes did a great job presenting the award to Sean Penn at the 2009 SAG Awards. Penn won the award for “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role” for his role in MILK.
Katie’s absence of a bra with her Jil Sanders dress is the talk of fashion town yesterday and this morning. You should see some of the headlines! Fashion critics are getting a kick out of writing up stories about the “SAG” awards and the fact that Katie was “SAGing” a bit.
Personally, I didn’t notice it when she walked on the stage. The pictures on the other hand… I did think that Katie looked gorgeous and the dress was a great choice, but probably should have invested in one of those stick on bras, but oh well. What’s done is done.
Katie got a chance to hang out with some mega-stars backstage. She chatted it up with Josh Brolin and Sean Penn as they went out for a smoke break. Katie didn’t join in on the smoking part, but I am sure they had a great time talking about movies, Katie’s time on Broadway and who knows what else.
Now the question is, where will we see Katie next?
