The studio bosses from Tom Cruise’s movie “Valkyrie” have offered the 12 injured extras a settlement. The actors claim that they were injured when they were thrown from a vehicle while filming a scene. Most of the injuries were minor, excluding one who was hospitalized for serious injuries.

The extras were seeking out $11 million in compensation. Although United Artists have offered them a settlement, they have yet to react to it.

Charles Woebcken, president and chief executive of Studio Babelsberg AG, which co-produced the film with United Artists, says, “We have offered a settlement. But they haven’t even reacted.

Woebcken made another interesting statement that had me scratching my head. He didn’t approve of the extras not coming to him first and instead, leaking the story to the media. He said, “In America, these things happen. You have a different system in Germany. If you lose an arm, it’s not worth a million dollars.

I have no word on what the settlement they were offered is. I’ll update this story as I find out more information.
