The Metropolitan Museum Of Art Costume Institute Annual Gala - Arrivals

Huping Zhou, a former UCLA researcher has just been sentenced to four months in federal prison and ordered to pay a $2000 fine for snooping into medical records of celebrities such as Tom Cruise.  According to reports Zhou had been warned he was about to get fired and his way of getting back at UCLA was to look at some high profile people’s private information and while he never was able (or maybe didn’t try) to sell the information to the tabloids it did stir up quite a bit of fear.

13 other workers were fired from UCLA in 2008 for the same reason.  It sounds like they are trying to make sure to send a message to any other medical personal that may want to peek at something they shouldn’t.  Don’t do it unless you want to pay the price of freedom.
