Well, this is an interesting story indeed and as always, I have no idea what the validity of it is. Just bear with me here.
Reportedly, Tom Cruise is taking his family (Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise) on a camping trip across America. Yes, camping, like in a tent! (I prefer an RV….I know, I know…I sound like a diva, but I hate camping!)
The Mirror is saying that the family will be turning their backs on luxury hotels for a little while and want to go on a no-frill trip.
In Katie’s Glamour magazine interview (coming out on March 10th!!) Katie said, “We love the outdoors. Once when we were camping Tom made his pasta carbonara for me.
“He knows exactly how to do it. A pinch of this, a pinch of that. He has a recipe, but he also kind of improvises by himself. You have to do the egg at a certain time.”
Can you imagine…you’re sitting at your tent in, let’s say Montana, cooking up some good ‘ol pancakes and sausage on an open fire. Then, you look up to see who your new neighbors are and it’s Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their adorable little girl Suri?
A “source” said, “They are certainly likely to cause a bit of a frenzy. But the whole point of them moving away from luxury holidays is to do things as a normal family.”
They added, “This is what Tom wants for Suri. He doesn’t want her to miss out on the things he and Katie enjoyed as kids, just because she is growing up in the spotlight.”
Hmmm….what do you guys think about this story? Anyone up for a camping trip with me? LOL! We might run into one famous couple!
